DRV10975ZRHFR Overview:
The DRV10975ZRHFR device is a three-phase sensorless motor driver with an integrated power MOSFET that can provide up to 1.5A of continuous drive current. The device is designed for cost sensitive, low noise, low external component count applications.
The DRV10975ZRHFR device uses a proprietary sensorless control scheme to provide a continuous sinusoidal drive, which significantly reduces the pure tone normally generated during commutation. The device's interface design is simple and flexible. The motor can be controlled directly via PWM, analogue, or I2C inputs. Motor speed feedback can be provided via the FG pin or I2C.
The DRV10975ZRHFR device uses an integrated buck regulator to efficiently step down the supply voltage to 5V or 3.3V to power internal and external circuits. The device is available in both sleep mode and standby mode for energy saving when the motor is stopped. The standby mode (4.5mA) model will keep the regulator running, while the sleep mode (80µA) model will stop the regulator. Standby mode models are used in applications where the regulator is used to power an external microcontroller.
Specific motor parameters in registers can be reprogrammed by the user via the I2C interface and the EEPROM can be programmed to help optimise the performance of the given application. The device is available in a highly heat efficient HTSSOP 24-pin package with exposed thermal pads. Operating temperature ratings are from -40°C to 125°C.
