Description:
The MAX77801HEWP is an efficient boost/buck converter for single lithium-ion battery powered applications. The device provides a regulated output from 2.6V to 4.18V with input voltages from 2.3V to 5.5V. The device maintains a stable output voltage of 2.6V to 4.18V over an input voltage range of 2.3V to 5.5V, and supports output currents of up to 2A in boost mode and 3A in buck mode.
The device seamlessly transitions between buck and boost modes. The unique control algorithm achieves high efficiency and excellent load and line transient response. Dedicated enable and power normal pins allow for simple hardware control. The I2C serial interface is optional for dynamic voltage adjustment, system power optimization and fault read back.
