Device Overview:

The TMS5701115CPGEQQ1 device is a family of high-performance automotive-grade microcontrollers for safety systems. Its security architecture includes a locked dual CPU, CPU and memory BIST logic, ECC for flash and data SRAM, parity check for peripheral memories and loopback functionality for peripheral I/O.


The TMS5701115CPGEQQ1 device integrates an ARM Cortex-R4F floating-point CPU offering a highly efficient 1.66 DMIPS/MHz, which can be configured to run up to 180 MHz, providing up to 298 DMIPS. the device supports the word-invariant big-endian [BE32] format.


The TMS5701115CPGEQQ1 device has 1MB of integrated Flash memory and 128KB of data RAM with single-bit error correction and double-bit error detection. The Flash memory on the device is a non-volatile, electrically erasable and programmable memory implemented with a 64-bit wide data bus interface. The flash memory performs all read, programming and erase operations with a 3.3V power input (the same level as the I/O power supply). When in pipeline mode, the flash memory runs at a system clock frequency of up to 180MHz. The SRAM supports single-cycle read and write accesses in byte, half-word, word and double-word modes over the entire supported frequency range.


The TMS5701115CPGEQQ1 device features peripherals for real-time control-based applications, including two Next Generation High End Timer (N2HET) timing co-processors with up to 44 I/O terminals, seven Enhanced Pulse Width Modulator (ePWM) modules with up to 14 outputs, six Enhanced Capture (eCAP) modules, two Enhanced Quadrature encoder pulse (eQEP) modules, and two 12-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) supporting up to 24 inputs.
