Product Overview:

The F280037SPMR/F280037SPNR supports up to 384KB (192KW) of Flash memory in three 128KB (64KW) memory bodies, supporting parallel programming and execution. Up to 69KB (34.5KW) of on-chip SRAM is also available to supplement the Flash memory. 

Real-time firmware update hardware enhancements on the F280037SPMR/F280037SPNR allow fast context switching from old to new firmware to minimise application downtime when updating device firmware.

The high performance analogue module is integrated on the F28003x real-time microcontroller (MCU) and is tightly coupled to the processing unit and PWM unit to provide improved real-time signal chain performance. 16 PWM channels all support frequency-independent resolution modes to control a wide range of power stages from three-phase inverters to power factor correction and advanced multi-stage power topologies. 

The inclusion of a Configurable Logic Block (CLB) allows users to add custom logic and integrate FPGA-like functionality into the C2000 real-time MCU. 

A variety of industry common communication ports such as SPI, SCI, I2C, PMBus, LIN, CAN and CAN FD not only support connectivity but also offer multiple pin multiplexing options for excellent signal layout. The Fast Serial Interface (FSI) enables robust communication up to 200Mbps across isolated boundaries. 

New to the C2000 platform is the Host Interface Controller (HIC), a high-throughput interface that allows external hosts direct access to the TMS320F28003x's resources.
