AM6231ASGGGAALW Device Description:

The AM62x Sitara™ processor is available in a 13mm x 13mm package (ALW) as an industrial grade processor and in a 17.2mm x 17.2mm package (AMC) to meet AEC-Q100 automotive standards. Industrial and automotive functional safety requirements can be met with an integrated Cortex-M4F core and dedicated peripherals that can be isolated from the rest of the AM62x processor. 

The 3-port Gigabit Ethernet switch has one internal port and two external ports and supports Time Sensitive Networking (TSN). An additional PRU module on the device provides real-time I/O functionality for the customer's own use cases. In addition, the AM62x contains a large number of peripherals for system level connectivity such as USB, MMC/SD, camera interface, OSPI, CAN-FD and GPMC for parallel connection of host interfaces to external ASICs/FPGAs.
