The EPM1270F256C5N is an (INTEL)MAX®II series fast-starting non-volatile CPLD based on a 0.18-µm, six-layer metallic flash memory process with a density of 1270 logic elements (LE)(980 equivalent macro units) and 8Kbit non-volatile storage. MAX II devices offer high I/O counts, fast performance, and reliable assembly compared to other CPLD architectures. MAX II devices feature a MultiVolt kernel, user flash memory (UFM) block, and enhanced in-system programmability (ISP) designed to reduce cost and power consumption while providing programmable solutions for applications such as bus bridging, I/O expansion, power-on reset (POR) and sequence control, and device configuration control.
