Product Description:

The MCP79412-I/SN Microchip Real Time Clock/Calendar (RTCC) IC provides a low cost system timing solution with 64 bytes of SRAM and up to 2 Kb of EEPROM, including a user lockable EEPROM section that can be factory programmed with a MAC address. Features include digital trim, power failure timestamp and battery switching.

On-chip digital trim/calibration: Range -127 to +127 ppm

Resolution of 1ppm

Programmable open-drain output control: CLKOUT with 4 selectable frequencies

64 bytes of SRAM, battery supported.

1Kbits EEPROM (128x8): 8 bytes/page

Block/sector write protection

Protection for none, 1/4, 1/2 or all arrays

Individual 64-bit unique ID: 8 bytes/page
