AD8418WBRZ Product Details

The AD8418 is a high voltage, high resolution shunt amplifier. The set initial gain is 20 V/V with a maximum gain error of ±0.15% over the entire temperature range. The buffered output voltage can be connected directly to any typical converter. the AD8418 has excellent input common-mode rejection when the input common-mode voltage is in the -2 V to +70 V range; it is capable of bi-directional current measurement across a shunt resistor and is suitable for a variety of automotive and industrial applications including motor control, battery management and solenoid valve control.

The AD8418 provides excellent performance over the full temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. It features a zero-drift core with an out-of-sync drift of 0.1 μV/°C typical over the entire operating temperature range and common mode voltage range.

Fully compliant with automotive application specifications, the AD8418 features integrated EMI filters and proprietary circuitry for high output accuracy at pulse width modulation (PWM) class input common-mode voltages. The typical value of the input detuning voltage is ±200 μV.

The AD8418 is available in both 8-pin MSOP and SOIC packages.
