AMC1305L25QDWRQ1 isolated Delta-Sigma modulator is a precise Delta-Sigma modulator in which the output and input circuits are separated by a capacitive double isolation barrier with strong anti-magnetic interference capability. The barrier is certified to provide enhanced isolation up to 7,000 V peaks, in compliance with DIN V VDE V 0884-10, UL1577, and CSA standards. When used in conjunction with an isolated power supply, the device prevents noisy current on a high common-mode voltage line from entering local system grounding and interfering with or damaging the low-voltage circuit.

The AMC1305 is optimized for direct connection to shunt resistors or other low voltage sources while providing excellent DC and AC performance. Shunt resistors are commonly used to detect current in motor drives, green energy power generation systems, or other industrial applications. The device achieves 16-bit resolution and a dynamic range of 85dB (13.8 ENOB) at 78kSPS data rate by using an appropriate digital filter (the same integrated with the TMS320F2837x) to reduce the bitstream.
