The SARA-R4 series modules are LTE Cat M1, LTE Cat NB1 and EGPRS multi-mode solutions in the miniature SARA LGA form factor (26.0 x 16.0 mm, 96 pins). They can be easily integrated into compact designs and can be seamlessly and directly migrated from other u-blox cell module families.

The SARA-R4 series modules provide software-based multi-band configurability to enable international multi-area coverage in LTE Cat M1 / NB1 and (E) GPRS wireless access technologies.

The SARA-R4 series modules provide data communication up to 375 kb/s over an extended operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C with low power consumption, enhanced coverage and deeper access to buildings and basements (as well as underground in NB1).
