The low cost AM62x Sitara™ MPU family of application processors is built for Linux® application development. With scalable Arm® Cortex®-A53 performance and embedded features such as dual display support and 3D graphics acceleration, as well as an extensive set of peripherals, the AM62x devices are ideally suited to a wide range of industrial and automotive applications, while also offering intelligent features and an optimised power architecture.

The AM62x Sitara™ processor is available in a 13mm x 13mm package (ALW) for industrial grade processors and a 17.2mm x 17.2mm package (AMC) to meet AEC-Q100 automotive standards. Industrial and automotive functional safety requirements can be met using the integrated Cortex-M4F core and dedicated peripherals, which can be isolated from the rest of the AM62x processor.
