The AM6412 is a new industrial-grade heterogeneous Arm® processor product family from Sitara™, built for industrial applications such as motor drives and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) that require a unique combination of real-time processing and communications and application processing. Cortex®-A53 cores, up to four Cortex-R5F MCUs and one Cortex-M4F MCU into one package.

This deterministic architecture allows the AM6412 to handle tight control loops in servo drives, while peripherals such as FSI, GPMC, PWM, delta-sigma extraction filters and Peripherals such as FSI, GPMC, PWM, Δ-sigma extraction filters and absolute encoder interfaces help to enable the many different architectures in these systems.
