The ADMV8818SCCZ-EP is a monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) with selectable digital operating frequencies. This device features four independently controlled high-pass filters (HPF) and four independently controlled low-pass filters (LPF) with an operating frequency range of 2 GHz to 18 GHz.

The ADMV8818SCCZ-EP employs a flexible architecture that allows independent control of the 3 dB cutoff frequency (f3dB) of the high-pass and low-pass filters, enabling a bandwidth of up to 4 GHz. Each filter's digital logic control has a 4-bit width (16 states), adjusting f3dB by controlling on-chip reactive components. Typical insertion loss is 9 dB, with broadband suppression of 35 dB, making it ideal for minimising system harmonics.

This tunable filter serves as a compact alternative to large switch filter banks and cavity-tuned filters, offering a dynamically adjustable solution for advanced communication applications.
