The STM32N657X0H3Q high-performance microcontroller is based on the Arm® Cortex®-M55 processor with an operating frequency of up to 800 MHz. It is the first CPU to introduce Arm Helium vector processing technology, adding DSP processing capabilities to standard cpus.

The STM32N657X0H3Q is equipped with ST's self-developed Neural processing unit (NPU) - ST Neural-Art Accelerator™ 's STM32 MCU, which is specifically designed for energy-saving edge AI applications. It enables real-time neural network inference in computer vision and audio applications.

In addition, a dedicated computer vision processing pipeline equipped with MIPI CSI-2 interface and image Signal processing (ISP) ensures compatibility with multiple types of cameras. The STM32N657X0H3Q also features an H264 hardware encoder and a NeoChrom™ graphics accelerator, making it suitable for feature-rich product development.
