The RC22308A002GN is a high-performance, low-power small clock synthesizer, belonging to the FemtoClock™ 3 series. This device supports ultra-low jitter clocks for reference clock applications of 100G/200G/400G/800G SerDes data center equipment. In addition, the RC22308A002GN is equipped with three fractional output dividers (FODs), supporting up to four frequency domains.

Its main features are as follows:

Ultra-low jitter performance: The root mean square jitter (12KHz-20MHz) performance at a typical clock frequency of 312.5MHz can be as low as 50fs.

Diverse power supply options: The device can be easily operated with a single 1.8V power supply, and is compatible with the SCL/SDA 3.3V level interface (only the VDDD33_SERIAL pin is needed to use the 3.3V power supply).

Support for DCO mode: Utilizing the DCO mode can bring greater flexibility and efficiency advantages.

The startup mode is flexible and configurable: With the support of external EEPROM, the configuration can be automatically loaded during the startup stage, thereby simplifying the configuration process.

Flexible communication interface: You can freely choose between SPI or I2C communication protocols.

Multiple OTP configurations: During the startup phase, up to four OTP configurations can be automatically loaded.
