The AMC8V208YBFR is an 8-channel 16-bit analog controller featuring a current output DAC and multiplexer output, which is optimized for optical fiber network applications.

The AMC8V208YBFR includes six dedicated 16-bit current-output digital-to-analog converters (IDacs) and two 16-bit IDacs, which can be configured to control the high output current generation circuit (IDAC+). The AMC8V208YBFR also includes a MUXOUT pin for monitoring the voltage and current on the current output pin. The integrated high-precision internal reference makes it unnecessary to use external references in most applications.
