The ADV7513BSWZ is a 165 MHz High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI®) transmitter especially suited for DVD players/recorders, digital set-top boxes, AV receivers, game consoles, and personal computers.

This digital video interface includes an HDMI v1.4/DVI v1.0 compatible transmitter that supports all HDTV formats. In addition to HDMI v1.4-specific features including 3D video, the ADV7513 supports x.v.Color™, High Bit Rate (HBR) audio, and programmable Auxiliary Video Information (AVI) InfoFrame features. The ADV7513 has built-in HDCP support for secure transmission of protected content as defined by the HDCP v1.4 protocol.

The ADV7513 supports both S/PDIF and 8-channel I2S audio formats. The high-fidelity 8-channel I2S interface can transmit stereo or 7.1-channel surround sound audio up to 768 kHz, while the S/PDIF interface can transmit compressed audio including Dolby® Digital, DTS®, and THX®. The ADV7513 is manufactured using an advanced CMOS process, and is available in a 64-pin surface-mount plastic-coated LQFP package (with exposed pads). It is rated over the -25°C to +85°C temperature range.
