The AM5726BABCXAR Sitara ARM application processor is designed to meet the strong demand for processing performance in modern embedded products.The AM5726 is an extremely flexible, fully integrated hybrid processor solution with high processing performance. The device also combines programmable video processing with a highly integrated peripheral set. Each AM5726 device offers cryptographic acceleration. Programmability is achieved through a dual-core ARM Cortex-A15 RISC CPU with a Neon™ expansion kit and two TI C66x VLIW floating-point DSP cores. With ARM, developers can separate control functions from other algorithms written on the DSP and coprocessors, reducing system software complexity.
