The BCM54195B0KFBG device is an eight-channel QSGMII copper/fiber Gigabit Ethernet transceiver with standard-compatible IEEE 802.1AE MACsec functionality on all eight ports. The device is designed to provide a link security solution for future and previous switching chips that exceeds the requirements of the IEEE 802.1AE MACsec standard. The BCM54195 can support both controlled MACsec encrypted frames and uncontrolled frames.

Designed for reliable operation on worst-case Class 5e cable equipment, the BCM54195 automatically negotiates the transceiver at the other end of the wire to achieve operating speed.
