The LAN8870-I/PUA 1000Base-T1 Ethernet transceiver offers a compact and cost-effective single-port Ethernet transceiver solution for 100BASE-T1 and 1000BASE-T1. This transceiver complies with the IEEE 802.3bw-2015 and IEEE 802.3bp-2016 standards. The LAN8870-I/PUA supports cable lengths exceeding 15 meters (Type A) and 40 meters (Type B), surpassing the IEEE 802.3bp requirement.

The LAN8870-I/PUA communicates with Ethernet MAC via the RGMII/SGMII interface and supports Time-sensitive Networking (TSN), as well as real-time network connections with IEEE 802.1AS-2020 and IEEE 1588-2019. It adopts Microchip's EtherGREEN™ technology to achieve low-power operation and supports OPEN Alliance TC10 for remote sleep and wake-up. flexPWR® enables flexible design through variable I/O and core power supply voltages, thereby enhancing power efficiency.
