The Marvell® Link Street™ 88E6393XA0-BXB2I000 offers a broad range of features, scalability, and cost-effectiveness, making it an attractive switch IC solution to serve multiple industry segments.

The 88E6393XA0-BXB2I000 switching chip integrates 1000BASE-T PHY and 10 Gbps fibre-optic port functionality, while requiring 60% of the power budget of comparable solutions. Despite its small package, the new switch IC offers eight tri-speed (10/100/1000) Ethernet ports and three XFI/SFI ports, and features a built-in 200 MHz microprocessor. SFI support means the switch can connect to fibre-optic modules without the need for an external PHY, saving space and bill of materials (BoM) costs and simplifying design. Compliant with the IEEE 802.1BR port expansion standard, it also plays a key role in reducing management overhead and controlling OPEX. It also includes L3 routing support for IP forwarding.
