The PCM1789PWR is a high-performance, single-chip, 24-bit, stereo, audio digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) with differential outputs. This dual-channel, 24-bit DAC features an enhanced multilevel delta-sigma (ΔΣ) modulator and supports 8 kHz to 192 kHz sampling rates with 16-, 20-, 24-, and 32-bit width digital audio input words on the audio interface. In addition to I2S, left- and right-aligned formats, the PCM1789PWR's audio interface supports 24-bit DSP formats.

The PCM1789PWR can be software controlled via a three-wire, SPI-compatible or two-wire, I2C-compatible serial interface to access all functions including digital attenuation, soft mute, de-emphasis and more. In addition, the hardware control mode provides two user-programmable functions via two control pins.The PCM1789PWR is available in a 24-pin TSSOP package.
