The Allegro™ A1106LLHLX-T Hall effect switch is the next generation replacement for the popular Allegro 312x and 314x series of single pole switches. the A110x series is manufactured using BiCMOS technology and includes devices with fast turn-on times and low noise operation. Device programming is performed after packaging, ensuring improved switching point accuracy by eliminating offset caused by packaging stress. The unique Hall element geometry and low offset amplifiers help to minimise noise and reduce residual offset voltages typically caused by device over-moulding, temperature shifts and thermal stress.

The A1106LLHLX-T Hall effect switch includes the following on a single silicon chip: voltage regulator, Hall voltage generator, small signal amplifier, Schmitt trigger and NMOS output transistor. The extensive on-board protection circuitry makes an absolute maximum voltage rating of ±30 V possible, thus providing excellent protection in automotive and industrial motor commutation applications without the need for additional external components. All devices in this series are identical except for the magnetic switching point level.
