The SS27-0A00-03 device is a PEX89024 24-channel 24-port PCI Express Gen 5.0 switch.

The PEX89000 series allows customers to build systems from simple in-box PCIe connections to high-performance, low-latency, scalable, and cost-effective PCIe fabrics for composable hyperscale computing systems supporting ML/AI and server/storage applications.

The PEX89000 switch provides raw bandwidth of up to 1024 Gb/s (128 GB/s) per port (x16), enabling designers to:

The PEX89024 enables I/O sharing with standard SR-IOV or multi-function features, allowing multiple hosts to reside on a single PCIe structural topology. Also included is Tunneling Windows Connectivity (TWC), a special low-latency host-to-host communication feature for short packets. Other features include:
