The IPQ8074 is Qualcomm's first WiFi6 networking solution designed to meet the growing demands of increasingly crowded and dense Wi-Fi environments.

The IPQ8074 is a highly integrated SoC designed to deliver maximum capacity, widest coverage and optimal performance for next-generation enterprise access points, carrier gateways and consumer routers.

- Up to 4x capacity to maximise network performance: Leveraging a 12x12 configuration, uplink and downlink MU-MIMO, and support for eight 80 MHz data streams, the IPQ8074 can increase network capacity by up to four times*, deliver up to 4.8 Gbps and maintain fast connectivity over a wider coverage area.

- Smart features for seamless connectivity: In addition to Qualcomm® Wi-Fi SON (Self-Organising Network) technology that simplifies installation, optimises data traffic and reduces blind spots, the IPQ8074 offers unique features to reduce harmful interference in dense areas with multiple overlapping Wi-Fi access points.

- All-in-one platform: Integrated 11ax RF, MAC and baseband, plus quad-core 64-bit A53 CPU and dual-core network accelerator to deliver a fully load-sharing 11ax subsystem. 14nm design offers power and size advantages, while extensive external WAN and media interfaces enable customers to build a complete 802.11ax product portfolio.
