The BCM55050A0IFSBG device is a highly integrated 50G ITU PON/XGS-PON/GPON bridged ONU System-on-chip (SoC). The device is optimized for rich service delivery and intelligent access applications.

Seventh generation processors integrate PON Macs, SerDes, two RGMII interfaces, four HSGMII interfaces, two 10G XFI interfaces, two 25G SerDes interfaces, and a DDR3 controller, along with unmatched QoS management, security, and hardware acceleration.

The BCM55050 features an advanced dual-core application processor and 50G network processor for unmatched service application flexibility and benchmark performance. Each processor executes independently, providing maximum flexibility for concurrent processing of applications and high-throughput network services.
