The DRV10866 is a three-phase sensorless motor driver with integrated power metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs) that can drive up to 680mA peak current. The DRV10866 is specifically designed for low noise and low external component count fan motor drive applications. The DRV10866 has built-in over-current protection, eliminating the need for external current sensing resistors. The synchronous rectifier operation mode improves the efficiency of motor driver applications. The DRV10866 outputs FG or ½ FG via an open-drain output to indicate motor speed. The device implements a 150° sensorless counter electromotive force (BEMF) control scheme for three-phase motors. The DRV10866 is available in a 10-pin, 3mm × 3mm × 0.75mm high efficiency heat sink SON (DSC) package. Rated for operation from -40°C to 125°C.
