NVIDIA officially launched a new generation of AI graphics processors (GPUs) called Blackwell at the GTC Technology Conference. The first Blackwell chip, called the B200, is 30 times faster than its predecessor.

The B200 is twice the size of NVIDIA's previous-generation AI chip, Hopper, and integrates 208 billion transistors, which is 2.6 times the 80 billion transistors of the previous-generation chip, and is 30 times faster than the previous-generation chip when dealing with tasks such as providing answers to chatbots.
