Overview

Amphenol's new PwrBlade ULTRA HD+ connector series features an enhanced high-power contact design that delivers up to 100A of current per contact (per 4 adjacent contacts) and high-density signal options with up to 6 signal pins per column.

The connector series uses Amphenol's proprietary silver-based plating technology, GCS, to ensure best-in-class current-carrying capacity and an ultra-low end-of-life contact resistance of 0.4mΩ(maximum). Compared to earlier PwrBlade series designs, the PwrBlade ULTRA HD+ maintains a low profile 11.40mm above the motherboard, allowing airflow to effectively cool the system. The modular tool design allows for a wide variety of applications and is ideal for power supply units (PSU), distribution boards (pdb) and other high current applications.
