The Marvell®Alaska®88E1548 Gigabit Ethernet transceiver is a physical layer device that contains four separate Gigabit Ethernet transceivers. Each transceiver implements all the physical layer functions of 1000BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 10BASE-T, and complies with the 802.3 standard. On the mac interface, the device supports QSGMII to copper or optical fiber, four-port SGMII to copper, or two-port SGMII to optical fiber.
