The BCM81182A1KREBG PAM-4 PHY transceiver is manufactured in advanced low-power 16 nm CMOS technology and is available in a RoHS compliant package.

The BCM8118x is a single-chip, low-power, low-latency PAM-4 PHY with integrated retimer and equalizer capabilities for 400GbE applications. In 400GbE mode, the BCM81181 retiming, adds FEC (optional), and equalizes the 8 × 50G PAM-4 host end signal to the 8 × 50G PAM-4 line end signal to drive the PAM-4 fiber link in the next generation module, including QSFPDD and OSFP.
