The BCM87106A1KRFBG is a high-performance, low-power single-chip 100GbE PAM-4 PHY transceiver capable of driving 112 Gb/s PAM-4 at 56 Gbaud while supporting DR/FR/LR fiber links. In 100GbE mode, The BCM87106 converts four 25.7815 Gb/s NRZ channels or two 53.125 Gb/s (26.5625-GBA ud PAM-4) channels from the client/system side to one 106.25 Gb/s (53.125-GBA ud) from the line/fiber side PAM-4) channel.

The BCM87106 has the FEC generation and termination capabilities required for DR4 to DR1 interrupt modes and longer distance fiber links. The BCM87106 also supports reuse of the BCM8740x family of advanced API-based firmware, significantly reducing module development and deployment time.
