The BCM87400 series device is the industry's highest performance and lowest power consumption single-chip 400GbE PAM-4 PHY transceiver platform, capable of driving a four-channel 112 Gb/s PAM-4 at 56 Gbaud while supporting DR4/FR4/LR4 fiber link. In 400GbE mode, the BCM87400 converts eight 53 Gb/s channels (26 GBA ud PAM-4) on the system side to four 106 Gb/s channels (53 GBA ud PAM-4).

The BCM87400A1KRFBG uses Broadcom's market-leading PAM-4 PHY technology platform and is the industry's first 400G PAM-4 PHY transceiver in the nm CMOS process.
