QPA1721D - 30Watt High Power Ku-Band MMIC Amplifier

Product Description

QPA1721D is a high power, packaged Ku-Band MMIC amplifier fabricated using Qorvo's production 0.15 um GaN-on-SiC process (QGaN15). The QPA1721D targets the 17.3 - 21.2 GHz Satcom band providing 12.5 Watts of linear power. Furthermore, the QPA1721D can deliver output power up to 30 Watts with 33 dB of small-signal gain and 20 % power-added efficiency.

The QPA1721D also has an integrated power detector to support system diagnostics and other needs. To simplify system integration, the QPA1721D is fully matched to 50 ohms with DC grounded on the input port for optimum ESD performance. Also, the input and output ports are AC coupled.
