The MC56F8323VFBER is a family of Digital Signal Controllers (DSC) based on the 56800E core, which provides both Digital Signal Processor (DSP) processing capability and microcontroller functionality on a single chip.

It features 60 MIPS performance (at 60 MHz) with 32 KB of on-chip flash memory and a comprehensive set of peripherals. It extends the functionality of the 56F8322/8122 by adding analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) inputs and timer input/output pins, among other enhancements.
