MT28FW512ABA1HJS-0AAT This device supports asynchronous random reads and page reads from all blocks of the array. It also has an internal program buffer that can be programmed with 512 words in a single command sequence to increase throughput.The 512-word block of extended memory overlaps addresses with array block 0. The user can programme this extra space and then protect it to permanently protect its contents. The device also features different levels of hardware and software protection to prevent unwanted modifications to the memory block.

Automatic power saving function

The automatic power saving function enables low-power operation during reading.

After reading from the memory array and the address lines are quiescent, the auto power save feature reduces the device current to a low ICCAPS value.

In Auto Power Save mode, the average current is measured for 5 milliseconds. The average current is measured within a 5-µs interval after the following events occur:

- No internal read, program or erase activity occurs

- RST# is off and CE# is on

- All other signals are quiescent and in the VSS or VCCQ position
