The BD71847AMWV-E2 programmable power management IC (PMIC) is ideally suited for powering single, dual and quad-core systems-on-chip. Specifically optimised for use with the NXP Semiconductors i.MX 8M Mini processor, it incorporates all the power rails required by the processor and its system peripherals. This optimisation makes it possible to significantly reduce development time and simplify application design. The power supply circuitry integrates six buck converters, six low dropout regulators (LDOs), and control logic that enables it to power the processor and the required DDR memory.
