The UIS8910DM is an LTE Cat.1bis IoT chip that uses a mature 28nm process and supports LTE Cat.1bis and GSM dual-mode with uplink speeds of up to 5Mbps and downlink speeds of up to 10Mbps. In addition, it integrates Bluetooth communication and Wi-Fi indoor positioning for more stable connectivity, supports VoLTE and achieves significant low-power consumption advantages through a system-optimised design. The introduction of the UIS8910DM solves the current pain points in IoT connectivity and fills the gap in cellular communication solutions between low-power narrowband IoT and traditional broadband IoT. Compared with NB-IoT and 2G modules, UIS8910DM has advantages in network coverage, speed and latency, and compared with traditional LTE Cat.4 modules, it has lower cost and power consumption, and at the same time, it adapts to the current 4G network in China, which is very suitable for application scenarios requiring cost-effective performance, latency, coverage and communication speed.
