The TLS850A4TEV50 is a high performance, low dropout and ultra-low quiescent current linear voltage regulator. With a typical quiescent current of only 4.3 µA at light loads and an input voltage range of 3.7 VDC. With an input voltage range of 3.7 V to 40 V, the device is perfectly suited for use in automotive power supply systems or other power supply systems permanently connected to the mains. The loop concept combines fast regulation with very high stability and requires only a small 4.7 µF ceramic capacitor at the output. The operating range starts at an input voltage of 3.7 V (extended operating range). The device is therefore suitable for automotive systems that need to operate in the cranking state.
