The TLE5009 E2010 is an angle sensor with an analog output. It detects the direction of the magnetic field by measuring sinusoidal and cosinusoidal angle components using a giant magnetoresistive (GMR) element.
It provides analog sine and cosine output voltages describing the angle of the magnet over a range of 0 to 360°. The differential GMR bridge signal is temperature-compensated and independent of magnetic field strength to maintain a constant output voltage over a wide range of temperatures and magnetic fields. The analog output is designed for differential applications.

Target Applications
The TLE5009 E2010 GMR angle sensor is designed for angular position sensing in automotive applications. It features high accuracy and short propagation delays for systems with high speed and high accuracy requirements, such as rotor position measurement for motor commutation. At the same time, the device has a fast start-up time and low total power consumption, so it can be used in low-power applications. Extremely low power consumption can be achieved by power cycling, where the device benefits from the fastest boot-up time.
