The HMC1501 is a high-precision magnetoresistive position sensor introduced by Honeywell, featuring an 8-pin SOIC package. It is primarily used for measuring magnetic field direction angles and is suitable for non-contact displacement detection. This sensor is based on the magnetoresistive effect, capable of measuring an angle range of ±45°, with a resolution as high as 0.07°, and supports a supply voltage of 3V to 5V, outputting a full-scale signal of 120mV (when powered by 5V).

The HMC1501 employs a single magnetoresistive bridge structure, operates in a magnetically saturated state (>80 Gauss), and offers advantages such as vibration resistance and temperature drift resistance, making it suitable for applications in industrial automation, automotive electronics, medical devices, and other fields.
