Wolfspeed WolfPACK ™ GM3 silicon carbide power modules are available in half-bridge, full-bridge, and six-gang (three-phase) configurations, all with the option of pre-coated HoneywellTM Thermal Interface Material (TIM). Suitable for medium power (10kW to 100+kW) designs, these modules have a small footprint to support the development of more compact, scalable solutions. These packages are pin-compatible replacements for existing silicon-based modules, facilitating system updates at any time. The choice of WolfPACK modules with pre-coated TIM can reduce junction temperature (Tj) by up to 40°C or increase current by up to 60% compared to standard thermal grease. The full-bridge configuration of the modules is ideally suited for use in isolated DC-DC converters in three-stage fast chargers, industrial power supplies, and energy storage systems.
