The MCP1793T-4102H/OT are high voltage, low dropout (LDO) regulators capable of generating 100 mA of output current. The input voltage range is 4.5V to 55V for 12V to 48V power rails and high voltage battery packs. A low UVLO of 2.4V at shutdown allows for automotive cold-start conditions. The regulator output is stabilised by a 2.2 µF ceramic capacitor. The device protects against short-circuit events with a current foldback feature and prevents overheating with thermal shutdown protection.
