The LM73-Q1 is a digital output temperature sensor with an integrated incremental Δ-Σ ADC. The LM73-Q1 communicates via a two-wire interface compatible with SMBus and I 2C interfaces, allowing the host computer to query the LM73-Q1 at any time to read the temperature.
The LM73-Q1 can operate over a wide temperature range (-40°C to 125°C) with an accuracy of ±1.45° C over the temperature range of -10°C to 80°C. The LM73-Q1 includes four selectable resolution options that can be used to adjust the temperature transition time and sensitivity for optimum performance. mode (0.25°C/LSB), which measures temperature within a maximum time of 14ms, making it ideal for applications where temperature data needs to be acquired quickly after power-up. In the highest resolution 14-bit mode (0.03125°C/LSB), the LM73-Q1 is optimised to sense very small temperature changes.
