The LEOLVDSRDPT-D is a 3 V to 3.6 V supply (4.8 V absolute maximum rating) low voltage differential signal (LVDS) driver and receiver for use in aerospace environments. It operates on a transmission medium with a controlled impedance of 100 ohms, which can be printed circuit board traces, backplanes, or cables.
The circuit has an internal fail-safe feature that ensures a known state is maintained in the event of a shorted or floating input. All pins have cold standby buffers to ensure a high impedance state when VCC is connected to GND.
The LEOLVDSRDPT-D operates over a wide temperature range of -40 °C to +125 °C and is available in a plastic TSSOP-20 thin shrink small outline package, 20-lead, finished with gold wire and nickel/palladium/gold leads for whisker resistance.
