The PIC32CXMTC family is a series of system-on-chip solutions based on dual 32-bit ARM®Cortex®-M4F RISC processors. The family features an optimized two-wire interface that reduces isolated interconnections with Microchip analog front ends (AFEs), making these devices particularly suitable for applications such as multiphase shunt smart meters.

The PIC32CX5112MTC128 integrates 512 KB of embedded flash memory, 176 KB of SRAM, 16 KB of instructions, and 8 KB of data cache/tightly coupled memory (TCM) on chip, with a maximum operating speed of 200 MHz for the application core and 240 MHz for the metering core. The device is designed to meet the requirements of international metrology standards with a clear separation between application/communication and metrology functions.
