The TLE5012BE5020XUMA1 is a 360° angle sensor that detects the direction of a magnetic field. This is achieved by measuring sinusoidal and cosinusoidal angle components using a monolithic integrated giant magnetoresistive (iGMR) element. These raw signals (sine and cosine) are processed internally digitally to calculate the angular direction of the magnetic field (magnet).

The TLE5012BE5020XUMA1 is a pre-calibrated sensor. The calibration parameters are stored in the laser fuse. On start-up, the fuse values are written to the trigger and these values can be changed according to application-specific parameters. By enabling the optional internal auto-calibration algorithm, the accuracy of the angular measurement can be further improved over a wide temperature range and a long service life.

- Multiple sensors can be operated in bus mode on a single line via the SSC or SPC interface
