The APS11450LLHALT-0SLA magnetic switch and latch ICs provide excellent jitter performance for optimised motor control. The magnetic switch and latch ICs use vertical Hall technology to withstand very harsh automotive voltage transients. In addition, these switches and latching ICs have been developed in accordance with the ISO 26262 standard.The APS11450LLHALT-0SLA three-wire planar Hall effect sensor integrated circuit (IC) is developed as a hardware safety element with ASIL B capability (to be evaluated) for use in automotive safety-related systems in accordance with the ISO 26262:2011 standard. Integrated and used in the manner specified in the applicable safety manuals and datasheets, the enhanced three-wire interface provides interconnect open/short short circuit diagnostics and fault status to exchange diagnostic information.
