The Qorvo QPF7219 is an integrated front-end module (iFEM) designed for Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) systems, combining the benefits of active components with BAW filter technology. The compact form factor and integrated matching minimizes the layout area in the application and greatly reduces the number of external components. Performance is focused on optimizing the PA for a 5 V supply voltage to save power while maintaining the highest linear output power and leading throughput on all Wi-Fi channels 1 to 11 without reducing transmit power to meet FCC regulatory limits. The receive path is matched to the best technology to maximize Rx sensitivity by maintaining consistent noise figure performance over a wider range of conditions.

The receive path is fixed so that external filtering can be added at the optimum location. Includes integrated chip-scale filtering for 2nd and 3rd harmonics and 5 GHz rejection for DBDC operation.

The QPF7219 integrates a 2.4 GHz power amplifier (PA) with power detector, FCC bandside BAW filter, voltage regulator, transceiver switch (SP2T), and bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA) into a single device.
