The MAX20096ATJ/VY are dual, high voltage, synchronous n-channel high current buck LED drivers. These ICs use a proprietary average current regulation control scheme to regulate inductor current. This control method does not require any control loop compensation and maintains a nearly constant switching frequency. Inductor current detection is achieved by detecting the current in the bottom switching device. The ICs incorporate two fully synchronised buck converter controllers operating over a wide 4.5V to 65V input range. The ICs are designed for high frequency operation with switching frequencies up to 1MHz.
